Gladys Urbina was elected as a Director of the Belize International Financial Services Association (BIFSA) in 2023. She is a seasoned executive in the international banking industry and currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Caye International Bank. Her expertise encompasses risk management, executive management, finance, corporate governance, strategic planning, and leadership. Ms. Urbina holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Galen University, an Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA) certification, and a Correspondent Banking certification from Florida International University in collaboration with the Financial and International Business Association (FIBA). Additionally, she is an Executive Committee Member of the Belize Bankers Association.
